NEW ORLEANS – The Royal Sonesta New Orleans has announced the launch of a new swim pass and additional summer pool programming for guests and visitors alike.
Officially returned this weekend, “Sonesta Sundays” transforms the pool deck into a lively Sunday social. This “social” includes live DJ entertainment, poolside cocktails to purchase and what they promise to be an “upbeat atmosphere inspired by the spirit of New Orleans.” Held every Sunday from 12–6 p.m., the experience offers locals an upbeat daycation in the heart of the city.
To bring on Memorial Day weekend, the hotel will host a “Royal Boil” on Friday, May 22, from 12-3 p.m. Those in attendance can expect unlimited crawfish with all of the fixings – corn, sausage and potatoes – served in the courtyard. This will also come with all-day access to the outdoor pool. A cash bar will be available for purchase, along with samples of seasonal brews and new Upbeat canned cocktails from local brewery, Abita.
