ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The land next to the Love’s Travel Stop on S. Main Street sits empty for now.
Hillwood, a real estate and development company out of Dallas, Texas, secured a portion of land in south Rockford to develop a more than 330,000-square-foot industrial building.
As a company, Hillwood has built more than 300 million square feet of industrial buildings.
“We’ve been around for about 30 years and are always looking for unique opportunities to find markets where we think are underserved.
