ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Drivers on I-25 may need to rethink their commutes for several weeks, as the southbound on-ramp at Montgomery is now completely closed to traffic for nearly two months, with much of the construction planned at night.
“We’ll be working around the clock and part of that is because we want to minimize the impact to the commuters and the traveling public. We also recognize it may cause heightened activity in the later hours of the night. So, we are just asking the community to bear with us,” said District 3 New Mexico Department of Transportation Public Information Officer Kimberly Gallegos.
