GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The final 175-foot-long piece of the new South Rogue River Trail (SRRT) is now in place, Plainfield Township officials announced this month.
On Thursday, May 14, cranes lowered the frame of the pedestrian bridge – a 10-foot-wide prefabricated steel structure parallel to the Rogue River Road bridge – into place over the Rogue River.
Rogue River Road closed about a quarter mile on each side of the river crossing on Tuesday, May 12, and is expected to reopen to the public this week…
