MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Young Boozer will coast to another GOP nomination in the Alabama Treasurer’s race, the Associated Press is projecting.
With 35 percent of the vote tallied, the unofficial results show Boozer leading his challenger, Steve Lolley 68 to 32 percent.
Boozer was first elected in 2010 and served until 2019. He was then appointed by Gov. Kay Ivey to complete the remainder of John McMillan’s term in 2021. He ran for reelection in 2022…
