Massachusetts Child Advocate reports record number of complaints in FY25

BOSTON (WWLP) – The Office of the Child Advocate (OCA) released a detailed report Tuesday analyzing data from Fiscal Years 2019 through 2025.

The 1,750 reports and complaint line inquiries in FY25 represent the highest total volume in the OCA’s history. This includes 993 complaint line inquiries, an 87% increase from FY24 and a 203% increase since FY20.
