SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A 7-year-old boy from Utah has officially become the youngest documented person to complete the 21-mile Rim-to-Rim hike of the Grand Canyon.

Tim Lambert, a 7-year-old boy from Draper, Utah, completed the Rim-to-Rim hike of the Grand Canyon in less than one day. The journey consists of 21 miles of terrain totaling 11,000 feet in elevation change.

The hike is considered one of the most strenuous hikes in America, and Tim is now the youngest person ever documented to have completed it.
