COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — With Memorial Day weekend right around the corner, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is reminding residents to “click it” during their holiday travels.
Georgia DNR encourages everyone to always click their seatbelts and lifejackets before driving across the highway or sailing across the waterway this Memorial Day weekend.
To help raise awareness and promote safe traveling during the holiday weekend, “Belts & Jackets” will be holding a Safety Tour at Lake Oliver located at 5501 River Rd. on Thursday, May 21 at 10:45 a.m. The following helped organize the event:
