Data center planned for former Kenwood Convent site

ALBANY — The owner of the former Kenwood Convent site in Albany has filed an application with regulators as they seek to connect a mixed-use retail and residential complex to the electrical grid that would include a data center.

It could also potentially use an enormous amount of power, according to regulatory filings.
