Are smart signals working? Donelson, Hermitage drivers weigh in

DONELSON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Smart signals have been installed along Lebanon Pike, and new data shows that in one year, traffic decreased by 20%. However, some residents say they haven’t noticed.

Grant Salter lives in Hermitage and travels along Lebanon Pike every day to get to work in Donelson.

“I’ve had days where it’s five miles to my house from my shop. I’ve literally had days where it’s taken me 30 minutes to get home, but I had days where it’s like nine minutes to go at the same time,” Salter said.
