Those might be the only ideas more likely to generate fierce opposition than a data center consuming an outrageous 180 megawatts of electricity. Yet that, more or less, is what an entity called the EKG Group is proposing for the former Kenwood Convent site on Albany’s southern edge, near the Bethlehem town line.
It’s a beautiful piece of property — 76 acres that slopes toward and overlooks the Hudson.
