PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct road work at numerous locations throughout Lehigh County beginning Tuesday, May 26, with most projects causing daytime lane restrictions.
The work will include crack sealing, tree removal, bridge repair and other maintenance activities across multiple townships and the City of Allentown. Most projects will run between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., with lane restrictions and flagging in place during work hours. Rain is not expected to cause delays to any of the scheduled projects.
Starting May 26, crack sealing work will take place on Pennsylvania Avenue, Vera Cruz Road and Kings Highway in Lower Milford and Upper Milford townships between Chestnut Street and the Bucks County line. The project is scheduled to continue through May 27. That same day, crews will begin crack sealing on Lower Macungie Road between Hamilton Boulevard and South Cedar Crest Boulevard in Upper Macungie and Lower Macungie townships…
