Milo and Quill Looking for Forever Homes at Broward County Animal Care

Two lovable pets at Broward County Animal Care are hoping to find their forever families, and shelter staff says both have plenty of affection to give.

Five-year-old Milo, a 71-pound American Bulldog mix, has been waiting for a home since arriving at the shelter as a stray last November.

When he was found, Milo was in poor condition, suffering from fleas, an ear infection, irritated skin, a heart murmur, and hip dysplasia. After receiving treatment and care, Milo has made a remarkable recovery. His skin and ears have healed, and he now enjoys playing and exploring like any happy dog…
