The Edison Festival of Light, an annual event in Fort Myers, Florida, honors Thomas Alva Edison, who built his winter home there in 1885. The STEMtastic Day of Discovery, another significant event, will be held on February 10th at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center from 10 am to 2 pm. This event recognizes Edison’s contributions to science and technology.
The festival’s lineup also includes the Mutt Strutt event on February 10th at Centennial Park, the Jr Fun Run and Jr Parade on February 11th in downtown Fort Myers, the Grand Parade of Light on February 17th, and Crafts on the River on February 17th and 18th.
