Estero Senior Amateur Invitational returns to Estero Country Club April 28-30

ESTERO, Florida – Estero Country Club will host the 3rd annual Estero Senior Amateur Invitational April 28-30, featuring an elite field of senior amateur golfers from across the country, competing across four age divisions: Senior (55–64), Super Senior (65–69), Legends (70–74), and Grand Masters (75+).

Last year’s tournament set a high standard with two-time winner Trent Gregory, of Wake Forest, North Carolina, posting a 6-under par total score over the demanding, spectacularly-manicured par 72 Estero Country Club course.

“Our goal is to provide a championship level experience that honors the spirit and skill of senior amateur golf,” said Andrew Plesz, PGA Head Golf Professional at Estero Country Club. “We’re proud to build on the success of the past two years and continue to elevate this event.”

“I look forward to this tournament every year,” said Jim Starnes, a 3 handicap at Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers and the 2024 Golfweek Super Senior Player of the Year. “It is first-rate and compares well to the best senior amateur events I play regularly. It’s also a home game for me since Fiddlesticks is only a few miles from here.”…
