FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Mayor Sharon Tucker and Fire Chief Eric Lahey announced Wednesday the promotions for five Fort Wayne Fire Department employees.
According to the city officials, the promotions recognize these individuals for their service, leadership, and dedication to the department.
The promotions include:
- Bryan Fairchild to the rank of Battalion Chief
- Kevin Bertram to the rank of Captain
- Josh Hammer to the rank of Captain – Systems Administrator
- Jason Green to the rank of Captain/Instructor
- Andrew Knox to the rank of Lieutenant
“I’m proud of the individuals promoted today and know they’ll do an excellent job in meeting the needs of the residents of Fort Wayne,” Tucker said. “I continue to be impressed with the proactive efforts being led by Chief Lahey and the men and women of the FWFD.”…
