KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Boating restrictions have been lifted for a swath of northeast Indiana lakes, the Department of Natural Resources said in an update.
The DNR announced restrictions were lifted for Lake Wawasee when water levels lowered Friday. The emergency order had restricted the operation of motorized watercraft above idle speed.

Thursday, similar restrictions were lifted in Noble County for the West Lakes Chain, including Jones, Waldron, Steinbarger and Tamarack lakes. The order was also rescinded for Sylvan and Smalley lakes.
