Motorcyclist dies after collision in San Jose parking lot

(KRON) — The San Jose Police Department is investigating the city’s 23rd fatal collision and traffic-related death of the year after a motorcyclist died in late June, days after crashing into a vehicle in a business parking lot.

SJPD said officers responded on June 22 to a crash in the 1000 block of North Tenth Street.

Investigators believe a man was traveling northbound on North Tenth Street, in a beige 2001 Toyota Tundra pickup truck, when he turned left into a business parking lot and was hit by a man going southbound in a black 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
