MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man is dead after being hit by a train in Madera Thursday afternoon.
Officers say it happened around 4 p.m. along the tracks near Yosemite Avenue and Gateway Drive.
There, they found a 51-year-old suffering from major traumatic injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he died on scene.
