August 3, 2026 – National Weather Service officials report the Heat Advisory is now in effect until 8:00 PM PDT Wednesday.
Dangerous Heat will continue in the San Joaquin Valley, west side hills, lower Sierra Nevada foothills, Lake Isabella, and the Kern River Valley until at least Wednesday.
