On the run: Texas murder suspect on $1 million bond cuts off ankle monitor

FRISCO, Texas (KWTX) — A Frisco man released on a $1 million bond for capital murder cut off his electronic ankle monitor and is now on the Texas 10 Most Wanted list, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Hassan Haitham Muhsen, 20, has been wanted out of Collin County since April 24, 2026, for capital murder. He cut off his electronic ankle monitor and fled the area, the Texas Department of Public Safety reported.

The capital murder charge stems from his alleged involvement in a robbery and shooting incident that occurred in McKinney in January 2025, according to the department. Muhsen was arrested and released from jail on a $1 million bond.

The reward for information leading to his arrest is increased to $6,000 during May if the tip is received this month, the Texas Department of Public Safety said. The U.S. Marshals Service is also offering an additional reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to Muhsen’s arrest…
