DJ Lagway clapped, received the ball and fired it down the far sideline after a short dropback.
It was third-and-8 at Florida’s 42-yard line, and a first down would have put the Gators in prime position to ice the game. Lagway’s pass zipped through the air to his slot receiver, but landed on the grass after falling through Vernell Brown III’s hands.
