GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A new program launched by Pine Rest Christian Mental Health is searching for volunteer members in West Michigan.
The program is in need of family welcome ambassadors at Pine Rest’s Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health in Grand Rapids, which opened in March.

“Families often arrive at our Pediatric Center during some of the most difficult and uncertain moments of their lives,” Andrew Dow, Pine Rest Vice President of People, said in a statement. “Being there to warmly greet them, help them find where they need to go, and simply let them know they are welcome can make a meaningful difference in alleviating the stress of seeking care.”
According to Pine Rest, ambassadors will serve at the main entrance of the center and greet families, provide directions, answer questions in their role and assist visitors. Ambassadors must be 18-years-old or older…
