GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Stephen Preisler, the drug author known as Uncle Fester, has sold his Green Bay home and the foreclosure action filed by the city after his arrest has been dropped.
Preisler, 68, gained renown under the name “Uncle Fester” for his books on how to make ricin, methamphetamine and other drugs.
In July 2023, he was charged in Brown County with multiple drug manufacturing and delivery counts after items were seized from his Baird Street home. He has since been convicted of several drug and bail jumping charges. He will be sentenced July 16 on the primary case in Brown County.
After his arrest, Green Bay filed a civil lawsuit, seeking to take control of the property at 826 S. Baird Street and having it declared a public nuisance. The city had arranged for prospective buyers to tour the home at one point, court records show…
