ABSS student arrested for possessing modified firearms, deputies say

MEBANE, N.C. — An Alamance-Burlington schools student has been arrested after deputies said they had modified firearms.

The matter was brought up by an ABSS SRO at Eastern Alamance High School. Investigators determined the student had these firearms off campus.

Later, investigators discovered some of the firearms had been modified as fully automatic weapons, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office. They also found narcotics, deputies said…
