Former Triad home care workers launch own agency after reportedly not being paid: ‘Love helping people’

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — A Triad woman is turning a difficult chapter into a new beginning.

Back in October 2025, we reported that several former employees of a Winston-Salem home care agency alleged they worked weeks, and some for two months, without pay.

One of those former workers has launched her own home care agency in High Point, moving past that controversy towards a fresh start.

Heart to Heart

“I’ve been in the health care field for 11 years. I just love what I do. I’m very passionate about it, and through the adversities that I went through, I still continue to be in this field, and I just love helping people. I love putting smiles on their faces,” Heart to Heart Home Care Solutions Director and Owner Monica Jenkins said.
