PIEDMONT TRIAD, N.C. (WGHP) — A very active week ahead in the Piedmont with good chances for rainfall through the middle part of the week, very good news as we work to dig our way out of our ongoing drought.
For your Memorial Day Monday, we will see showers and plenty of clouds throughout the morning and will likely see some sunshine peak through in the afternoon. Rain chances will fade through the middle part of the day, but a chance of thunderstorms will return late evening and overnight into Tuesday morning. Highs on Monday will be near 80 degrees.
