New TCMU exhibit looks back at Revolution-era life in Upstate South Carolina

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Children’s Museum of the Upstate (TCMU) is opening an exhibit looking back at Upstate South Carolina during the Revolution.

Life in the Upstate: 1776 is scheduled to open on June 27.

“This exhibit invites children and families to experience history in a way that feels handson, imaginative, and personal,” said Lauren Luneckas, CEO of TCMU. “Rather than learning about the Revolutionary era from a distance, children can step inside this exhibit to build, explore, and wonder about what life may have been like here in the Upstate in 1776. We hope families leave with a deeper understanding of and connection to the important role Upstate South Carolina played in the American Revolution.”…
