GREENVILLE, SC — Greenville and much of Upstate South Carolina are heading into a classic stretch of early-summer weather, with a brief window for strong storms followed by a hotter, sunnier pattern. The National Weather Service says an approaching cold front could trigger the most active weather Monday afternoon into early Tuesday.
Forecasters say the main concern is damaging wind, especially during storm windows Monday evening and overnight. After that system passes, the region should get a short break before the usual pop-up thunderstorms of summer return later in the week.
