Spartanburg man sentenced to 20 years for 2021 shooting

An Upstate man with a checkered criminal past will spend the next two decades in prison after a shooting incident, over two years ago. The 7th Circuit Solicitor’s Office says 28 year old, Dalton Duran Sease of Spartanburg pleaded guilty to charges from a shooting in October of 2021.

Court records show that Sease drive his girlfriend’s car to a barbershop in Spartanburg and shot at a woman he saw there. Sease was later taken into custody and drugs were found on him during his arrest.

Sease is charged with aggravated assault, 1st degree domestic violence, intent to distribute heroin and multiple other charges. He has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

His criminal history includes convictions for domestic violence, crack possession and multiple counts of 2nd degree burglary.
