York County Sheriff’s Office announces arrests of two wanted suspects

YORK, Pa. — The York County Sheriff’s Office this week announced the arrests of two wanted fugitives made by the Warrant Apprehension Unit last month.

Deputies captured Matthew Moody, 56, of York on May 27, the Sheriff’s Office said. Authorities responded to the first block of Lisburn Road in Warrington Township to execute a warrant service and found Moody, who was wanted on an outstanding felony count of fleeing or attempting to elude police, sitting in a vehicle parked in the driveway.

Moody attempted to run when deputies arrived, but was quickly apprehended in a wooded area adjacent to the property, the Sheriff’s Office said…
