Eastbound Route 581 in Camp Hill will close for two consecutive weekends in September as crews conduct concrete patching work, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
Both the passing and travel lanes will be closed between mile marker 5.1 and mile marker 7.4 from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 to 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14. The closure will repeat the following weekend from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 to 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21. The closures are weather dependent.
During the closures, traffic will be directed to use the eastbound Route 11/15 ramp collector road and continue in the far-right lane between the Route 11/15 interchange and Interstate 83. Drivers will still be able to access both northbound and southbound I-83 from the collector road…
