A good chunk of the region received a much-needed half inch of rain over the week, and even a bit more for eastern areas. Now the Nor’easter that was much stronger this weekend is weakening and dissipating. This won’t change our Monday forecast much as we expect areas of clouds and light morning rain to continue. A few peeks of sunshine are possible for this afternoon as the rain ends and drier air moves in. Winds should not be much of an issue today as a northerly flow takes hold.
