Woman, 26, Collapses and Dies After Leaning Against Vacuum Outside of Car Wash

The car wash has since reopened as officials await the results of an autopsy performed on the victim

A woman has died after coming into contact with a vacuum at a car wash in Pennsylvania.

The incident occurred at the Carriage House Car Wash on Bowman Street in Lebanon, at about 7:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday, April 15, according to a news release from the York County Coroner’s Office (YCCO).

Gladys Lopez, 26, “sat down and leaned up against an outside vacuum,” after which the woman “collapsed onto the ground,” the release stated…
