Pa. Dems look to bring ‘Jay Alert’ pilot to Philly to combat hit-and-run crashes

Elected Democratic leaders in Harrisburg — in a joint meeting between the State Senate and House of Representatives Democratic Police Committees — met on Monday to discuss legislation that could bring a pilot program to Philadelphia that is intended to combat hit-and-run crashes.

The new legislation, proposed in Harrisburg by State Senator Anthony Williams (D-8th dist.), looks to bring a pilot program for “Jay Alerts” to Philadelphia.
