The Clark County School District could slash annual costs by as much as $79 million within five years, according to a newly released efficiency study commissioned by Superintendent Jhone Ebert and carried out by Gibson Consulting Group — the district’s first such review since 2011.
The study projects potential savings of up to $34 million beginning in the 2027-2028 school year, rising to $79 million annually within five years. All recommendations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for feasibility before implementation.
