LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Clark County has officially broken the Guinness World Record for building the largest blanket fort.
The fort in question, built at Desert Breeze Community Center, measured 14,103 square feet, breaking the previous record set in South Carolina in 2024 at 12,291 square feet.

The effort to break the record brought together volunteers, community partners, and sponsors including Las Vegas Grand Prix, Atlas Crane, Foster Kinship, Leverage LV, and dozens of community members who helped bring the project to life.
“This project was about much more than breaking a world record,” Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones said. “It was about bringing the community together, creating unforgettable memories for foster and kinship families, and raising awareness for the needs of children and caregivers in foster care.”
An official adjudicator traveled to Las Vegas for the official adjudication and announcement.
