LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas man pleaded guilty on Tuesday to bid-rigging charges related to the sale of shelving and storage products to Nellis Air Force Base and Air Force Base Moody in Valdosta, Georgia.
Scott G. Srodes, 65, admitted his part in submitting collusive bids for projects at multiple health care facilities at Moody and operations facilities at Nellis, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice.
Srodes, a former employee of a shelving and storage distributor, and his co-conspirators exchanged pricing information before submitting bids. At times, they would tell each other exactly what price to quote, according to information and a plea agreement filed in the Middle District of Georgia…
