Three states are home to pockets of booming wage growth, a new study found.
Florida, California and Nevada are home to the five cities with the fastest-growing income in the nation, according to a study of 2024 wage trends in cities with at least 250,000 people by personal finance site SmartAsset. The study factored inflation into each income calculation.
“In many U.S. cities, median household income has outpaced inflation by a wide margin, offsetting the impact of rising costs,” the study noted. “In others, however, residents are falling far enough behind to intensify the squeeze on household budgets.”…
