On Saturday evening, Channel 13 received a copy of a cease-and-desist letter from two police unions addressed to Henderson councilwoman Carrie Cox.
The Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers (NAPSO) and the Henderson Police Supervisors Association (HPSA) shared in their letter that Cox had allegedly used elements of their organizations — including badges, logos, and names — in her campaign materials.
Both associations said in the letter that neither one had given Cox their endorsement, and were rescinding old endorsements to Cox. They also asked that any signage containing those elements be removed and destroyed…
