Brickell’s newest 80-story development just became the tallest residential building in Florida and the highest south of NYC

Miami’s ever-changing skyline has received another mind-blowing addition. Rising to penthouse levels at 872 feet, Cipriani Residences Miami has recently become the tallest residential tower south of Manhattan.

The building at 1420 South Miami Avenue in Brickell reached the impressive feat of the “tallest residential building south of NYC” just last month, taking the title from the 868-foot Panorama Tower.

As the 80-story development — the first in the Americas by the Cipriani brand — continues its ascent toward a final height of approximately 950 feet, it marks a new benchmark for residential height in Florida.

About Cipriani Residences Miami

Developed by Mast Capital and designed by Arquitectonica, the building will feature 397 one- to four-bedroom homes with warm, neutral interiors by 1508 London. At the very top will be The Canaletto Collection, a limited offering of ultra-luxury penthouses at the highest elevations offering unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay.

“This milestone reflects a disciplined commitment to craftsmanship and the conviction that buildings of this scale must offer far more than height,” said Camilo Miguel Jr., founder and CEO of Mast Capital in a release. “What we are seeing is not only the physical rise of Cipriani Residences Miami, but the continued ascent of Miami itself. As global wealth, leading financial institutions, and major companies establish a permanent presence here, expectations around design, service, and overall quality have fundamentally evolved.”

Anchoring the project is over 50,000 square feet of amenities, such as a resident-only restaurant, private dining experiences, a 37th-floor speakeasy, resort-style pool with cabanas and signature in-home dining and concierge…
