HONOLULU (Island News) – Late Tuesday night, emergency personnel responded to a fatal crash in McCully, where a pickup truck landed on a fire hydrant, sending water flooding down Bingham Street.
Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) crews responded to Bingham St. in McCully at 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday after it was reported that a vehicle with four passengers was traveling when it collided with a parked vehicle.
According to the Honolulu Police Department (HPD), a 26-year-old woman with two 25-year-old women passengers and a baby, were traveling eastbound on Bingham St. when she sideswiped a parked and unoccupied vehicle. As a result of the collision, it caused the first parked car to collide into a second parked and unoccupied vehicle and a fire hydrant.
