HONOLULU (KHON2) — A boil water notice has been issued for certain areas on Oahu’s North Shore after a water sample tested positive for bacteria.
The Waialua Water Association said E. coli bacteria were confirmed in the Waialua Sugar Pump 2 Public Water System’s water.
The water pump serves approximately 500 people in the Otake and Mill Camp areas. Waialua Sugar Pump 2 customers should boil water before use or use bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice…
