According to Houston police, the shooting occurred near the intersection of 610 Loop and Cullen.
Houston METRO said preliminary information indicates the incident appeared to be the result of an unintentional discharge of a firearm involving two individuals who were known to each other.
Officials said both individuals were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Houston METRO said an individual who initially left the scene was identified when he later sought medical attention. …
