HOUSTON, Texas — A third suspect has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a man during a home invasion on December 10, 2022, according to the Houston Police Department.
Anthony Deshone Smith, 25, is facing capital murder charges in the 178th Criminal District Court. Smith is currently in federal custody and will be extradited to Harris County upon his release. Two other suspects, Derrick Wayne Castille, 28, and Carl Michael McCloud, Jr., 24, have also been charged with capital murder in the 180th and 177th Criminal District Courts, respectively.
