ELKMONT, Ala. — A North Alabama community is rallying around a local equine program after a tragic accident claimed the lives of four horses last week.
At 4C’s Equine in Elkmont, the loss has been deeply felt. The program, which provides education and essential horse care skills to students, is now leaning on community support after three of their lesson horses and their beloved mascot pony were killed in a car accident in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 16.
