Sienna Alexander has spent years preparing to be a leader in agriculture. Now, the former Indiana FFA State Officer is adding another title to her résumé—2026 Miss Morgan County Fair Queen—and she’s using the platform to shine a spotlight on Indiana agriculture.
For decades, the rural county fair queen has been an enduring slice of Americana, often viewed through a nostalgic lens of sashes, parading livestock, and community tradition. But Alexander, a 2024 graduate of Monrovia High School and current Honors College student at Purdue University, represents a modern iteration of the title: a polished, policy-minded advocate who views the rhinestone crown not as a prize, but as a megaphone for the nation’s food producers.
“I was really excited obviously, it’s such a great opportunity to represent Morgan County and, you know, be an advocate for the 4-H’ers that we have at the fair and all these people who work year-round,” Alexander said following her coronation, reflecting on a goal she has held since childhood. “It’s just such an incredible opportunity because it’s something that I’ve wanted since I was a middle schooler.”…
