INDIANAPOLIS — A person was killed in an interstate crash on the west side of Indianapolis Sunday morning.
According to a notification from the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash occurred on a ramp connecting I-465 southbound to I-74 westbound. INDOT’s notification confirmed that Indiana State Police is the agency that has been tasked with investigating the crash.
ISP reported that one person was killed in the crash. State police also indicated that the crash was a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian. Law enforcement has not provided the decedent’s identifying information like name, age and sex.
