Police in Mississippi have announced a second arrest in the death of a 29-year-old mother who was found hanging from a tree in Jackson early last month.
Earnest Lloyd Jr., 25, was taken into custody Tuesday and charged with murder in the death of Tasia Fortune, 29, the Jackson Police Department said.
An arrest warrant for a third person was also issued and handed over to the U.S. Marshals Service for assistance, the department said in a release, while declining to identify the wanted individual “at this time.”
