KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Cockroaches, mold and broken appliances: the City of Kalamazoo is set to send inspectors to Lilac Hills Apartments as tenants say the complex is nearly unlivable.

“I got a mold in the bathroom underneath the tub, mold underneath the sink,” he said. “In the kitchen, my bathroom sink is about to fall apart.”
